From the first task to the signature

  1. Create the schedule

Add tasks and milestones – your schedule takes shape.

  2. Set dependencies

Link tasks. Every change finds its place, the critical path stays visible.

  3. Export, print-ready

As a PDF with your logo – for client, meeting and site.

What makes a schedule hold.

Gantt Charts

Tasks, milestones and dependencies – visually, via drag & drop.

Turn over
Gantt Charts Gantt Charts

Tasks, milestones and dependencies are set directly on the bar – drag, move, link. Company holidays sit in the schedule as periods of their own, so no date is quietly calculated through the summer. Each contractor carries their colour across every project.

Dependencies & critical path

Every change finds its place. Sequence and critical path stay readable.

Turn over
Dependencies & critical path Dependencies & critical path

Define dependencies between tasks and see at a glance which ones drive the final deadline. Move a task and dependent bars shift with it – the critical path stays visible at all times.

Cost Classification

Import your cost classification and assign your tasks to it.

Turn over
Cost Classification Cost Classification

Import your cost classification and assign each task to a cost group, directly in the Gantt chart. Costs and dates stay addressable through the same labels, while the schedule follows the construction sequence – not the cost order.

PDF Export

Print-ready, with your logo – for client, meeting and site.

Turn over
PDF Export PDF Export

Export your schedule as a print-ready PDF – with your own logo, header and footer. The paper format follows from column widths and date range; Menira locks formats that are too small, so the print is not quietly shrunk to fit. For the client, the meeting and the site.

Style editor

Your schedule in your company's look – colours, patterns, labels.

Turn over
Style editor Style editor

Colour, pattern, border and label are set per bar – to tell trades apart, for instance, or to bring out the client's date. Recurring styles are saved, so the next schedule looks like the last one.

Team Collaboration

Together on the same schedule – without overwriting each other's work.

Turn over
Team Collaboration Team Collaboration

Several people work on the same schedule, one after another. Roles determine who may make changes. Whoever opens a schedule for editing holds it for the duration of their work – the others can see who is working on it, and no change overwrites another.

Swiss diligence

Your project data stays where it belongs.

With the Swiss cost classification

Import your cost classification and assign your tasks to cost groups and trades – the order in the schedule still follows the construction sequence, and everyone involved speaks the same language.

The classification is imported once – then it's ready in every one of your projects.

Three levels, one plan.

On site, people do not work with one schedule but with three. They do not replace each other – each answers a different question.

  1. Project programme

The overarching frame across all project phases – from feasibility study to handover into service.

  2. Master construction programme

The entire construction process on one plan, with the milestones of the realisation phase.

  3. Weekly programme

Short-term fine control on site – who works where and on what over the coming weeks.

Menira is built for the two upper levels: tasks and milestones across months or years, with dependencies, critical path and company holidays as periods in their own right. The timeline can run in calendar weeks – the unit of time used on site. Related tasks can be bundled into collapsible groups, up to four levels deep – as a summary line across the period or as a plain heading.

Frequently asked questions

Can I bring an existing schedule across?
BauPlus schedules (.b2tx) can be imported from the Pro plan onwards – with tasks, sub-bars, milestones, dependencies and colours. There is currently no other import format; a schedule from Excel or MS Project is rebuilt in Menira. For a project already under way, this usually pays off with the next schedule rather than the current one.
Who is Menira designed for?
For anyone who has to defend a date to a client or to contractors: site management, architecture, planning, project management. Menira is built for the higher levels – overall construction programme and planning programme spanning months to years, not for weekly control on site.
How does billing work?
Billing is monthly or yearly, your choice, in Swiss Francs (CHF). You pay for the number of active projects – users are unlimited from the Starter plan onwards, so a growing team costs no more.
What happens to my schedules if I cancel?
You can download any project as an encrypted backup file at any time – on the Free plan too. It holds the complete schedule and can be restored into Menira; outside Menira it cannot be read. To pass a schedule on to others, the PDF is the way. The plan runs until the end of the billing period; an upgrade takes effect immediately.
Where is my data stored?
Your live data is held on servers in Switzerland (Zurich location). For failover protection, client-side encrypted backups are stored with a processor in the EU – which cannot access their plaintext. We operate in line with the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) and the GDPR.
Is there a free trial?
The Free plan is permanently free: 2 projects, 1 user. No trial period that expires – the schedule stays, even if you do not open it for months. On the Free plan, PDF exports carry a Menira watermark.
What happens when a date shifts?
Move one task and the dependent ones move with it – at the recorded distance, not by guesswork. The critical path shows which tasks determine the end date and which have slack. What changes, changes visibly; the schedule stays readable.
What paper size can I print on?
From A4 up to large-format plots, in portrait or landscape. Which size a schedule needs depends on column widths and the date range – Menira locks sizes that are too small, so the print is not quietly scaled down. If one sheet is not enough, the schedule breaks across pages without cutting a row in half.
Can several of us work on the same schedule?
Yes – with unlimited users from the Starter plan onwards; you pay for active projects, not per person. Editing happens one at a time: whoever opens a schedule holds it until they release it again – the others can see who is working on it meanwhile. That way no change overwrites another.

Because a construction schedule has to hold.

A schedule is a promise: to the client, to the trades, to yourself. It becomes binding, however, not because it was circulated, but because it was agreed or approved. Menira keeps that schedule readable, even when something shifts – so complexity becomes clarity and a deadline stays something you can rely on.
